Pull-up Pro

How crazy is it that Bella started crawling only about 3 weeks ago, on the 11th (exactly 9 months!)?
Well, the same day she started crawling, she was already working on her pull-up skills! It took her a bit to get her footing right, and to not be afraid of falling....but I would say about a week ago, she got it down!
so here are some videos of a professional pull-up champ!

This first one took some enticing with mommy's keys to get some video.


Now, she just does it. this is from today. notice how she's doing the one-handed move - getting braver and braver. no telling when she'll start walking...scary thought!

oh, and we finally sent our camcorder in to get repaired. hopefully we'll have audio on these videos soon - right now we're relying on my camera for video footage - no audio. so sad!:(

Getting Big!

We went to the doctor last wednesday for Bella's 9-month check-up (@ 9.5 months...)

This week has been jam-packed with new things...

yup, that's right! it's official! Bella is crawling! As of last night, she was still going from sitting to tummy and from tummy to sitting, and going backward....

But today is a new day with new skills. apparently, she realized how to use those KNEES, and I suppose Mom's keys were just inticing enough to get her moving! :)

So, here is the official baby on the move...enjoy!

I do have to say that my first Christmas was wonderful! It was my first time to go to Louisiana, and I got to see so many fun people, and met many of them for the first time! aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, great-grandparents...Mommy and Daddy's friends...the list goes on...

Here's a picture of my daddy's family - my aunts and uncles, cousins, nana and poppop, mommy and daddy, and me. I think its the first picture of everyone since mommy and daddy's wedding!

ahem! a side note: Chase looks smaller than me because he is sitting farther back...that, and he's walking now... Don't worry...I'll catch up soon enough!

Yup. Christmas was fun. I don't recommend riding in a car seat for 12 hours straight very often, but mommy and daddy said I did great! We made it there and back, and mommy and I brought colds back with us. What's family time without sharing, right? We'll get over it, and I'll catch up on that crawling soon enough...
